FOR THE COUPLES WHO WANT A

wedding day Time Machine

These are crafted wedding films to match the wedding day style, aesthetics, as well as the couple’s story.

Ranging from 2 minutes to 5 minutes, these films are uniquely matched to a couples style - some couples love a romantic and swoony wedding film to cry to while others want it to be more zany and unserious.

The most important aspect of it all, is that it’s basically a time machine back to a single day when the coolest stuff happens - you see people you haven’t seen in 10 years, you dance like crazy, and you vow to love someone until death.

Check out some of my favorite films of all time, the coolest people I’ve met and see how a wedding film is more than just that;

this is the way you’ll remember that day, plus what you might have missed.

nicole & michael

“I want my wedding video to be like Audrey Hepburn, but a little drunk…

When I met Nicole for a consultation a year before her wedding, I was SO hoping she would choose me to be her videographer. Her excitement for the wedding, as well as the aesthetic she wanted for her film "(“Audrey Hepburn, a little drunk” and “1920s glitz and glamour” I mean come onnnnn) made me cross my fingers that I would be able to document part of her and Mike’s love story.

Lexi and Keagan

“We’re jokingly calling it our big fat Italian redneck wedding, but we’re trying to keep casual and enchanting at the same time.”

The amount of times my husband came home to find my teary eyed while editing (and rewatching) Lexi and Keagan’s wedding film was too many times to count. A truly stylish and fun day, that honored those who passed and celebrated an adorable couple who’ve known each other since kindergarten.

  • Lexi shooting custom wedding t-shirts out of a catapult

  • Let’s hear it for a second dress change from her mom’s wedding dress that she wore on the EXACT day Lexi and Keagan got married (aka they share a wedding anniversary date :)

MADDIE & ETHAN

“SHAME. SHAME. SHAME” *

*watch the video to get this reference.

Maddie and Ethan asked me to do a partial video package for their wedding, as I was going to be their photographer - basically, they just wanted the ceremony and speeches recorded.

However, I love Maddie and Ethan…I had just purchased a camcorder…Teddy was only doing partial video…Naturally, we had to make them a small video. OBVIOUSLY.

So here is one of my favorite wedding camcorder films, and I can’t wait to make more cute camcorder films like this :)

Brittany and Gabby

“I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible”

I had never done a New Year’s Eve wedding, but by golly am I glad that Britt and Gabby’s reached out to me, because talk about a FUN NIGHT. One of the concerns that they told me, was that they didn’t think they were photogenic at all. I still don’t believe it, and I think you’d agree with me.

Their film is one of my favorites.

  • They started off their ceremony with Billy Crystal’s speech to Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally #sobbing

  • When these two are together, sparks are a’flyin (and it’s not just the cold sparklers, but we talk about that entrance!!)

  • They picked black and white gowns, and honestly it looks so good because a) they are stunning and b) the designs of the gowns were unique to them!

I love when I run into them around town :)

Leah and Thomas

“We have already locked in two "Cold Spark" machines!”

Up to the wedding day, Leah and I shared a mutual interest in hilarious memes she would post on her IG and I would usually reply to the engagement photos of her and Tom with a lot of crying emojis (which isn’t uncommon for me).

Once editing started, I knew I wanted to have a song that was more folky and fun. I found “Who We Share It With” was absolutely perfect - this couple had a solid friend group for years, I had bonded with Leah over countless reels on IG, and every single person was so excited to be there and celebrate.

ALSO. Tom totally surprised Leah with a fireworks display at the end of the night. Every SINGLE time I watch that clip, I start crying because it’s such a wholesome and special moment between the two of them. This is the type of film that once you’re finished, you just think “I’m so lucky to know people like this.” Because life is about who you share it with, after all. :)

ELena and Jarred

“I want our wedding to feel like a movie and I immediately loved all the films you posted so I watched pretty much all of them.”

Elena and Jarred reached out to me about a year before their wedding day, and after the first call I pretty much knew they were going to be the coolest couple to work with, and I was totally right. Here’s a list of reasons:

  1. I was excited to have full creative control and the fact that Elena and Jarred trusted me so much was really humbling.

  2. Everyone at the wedding was so kind and excited. I immediately felt how loved the couple was with every event.

Gabriella & Raphael

GET YOUR PLATFORM BOOTS AND SEQUIN JUMPSUIT ON BECAUSE WE’RE GOING TO THE 70s!

Favorite parts of the day:

  • THE STYLE. My goodness, the looks from this 70s disco theme were incredible. Bright colors! Hot pink!

  • The couple! I mean these cuties were the kindest people, and were so present on their wedding day.

  • THE SPEECHES! Everyone had such wonderful speeches, and the interaction with the crowd was one of my favorite parts.

Now what the heck are you waiting for - see how wonderful these two are!!

Sherri & Jim

“I really want to see what I looked like drinking the water bottle at the church about to pass out”

When I sent the teaser to Sherri and Jim, they replied with: “OMFG!!!! Stfu 😭😭😭 I am at such a loss for words and totally sobbing away! Such beauty and class and fun!…Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing the happiest day of our lives! We’re so glad you were a part of it”

The only way I can describe Sherri and Jim’s wedding is an absolute blast attack with the most incredibly high energy wedding party, hilarious couple and a vendor team that was just as excited that they were getting married as they were.

When I tell you, the energy level of the wedding party maintained through the entire day was something of magic. This was one of my favorite weddings of the year and now you have to watch their film because it’s so GOOD.

Brooke & Josh

romantic, wholesome & teary

- While getting ready, Brooke told her mom and I about how she and josh had met earlier that day to read longer vows than they would say at the ceremony to get all the tears, “which clearly didn’t work because I’m still crying!” she had said.

- THE DETAILS. The blue and white toile and neutral bridesmaid dresses, small yellow flowers snapdragons in the bouquets, the name cards that Brooke had handwritten and crafted. Everything had a purpose and a detail.

- There was a brief silence once Brooke and her dad had gotten to the alter, and you only heard the wind through the trees, birds singing, and the sniffs from teary eyed family and friends.

These are just a couple of little moments from the day I remember best, and some of them you’ll be able to visit in the film. I feel so honored to be a small part in documenting brooke and josh’s day. 💛

MIKE & MORIAH

Meet the M&Ms

Mike and Moriah are one of the most kind, hilarious, amazing couples I’ve gotten to work with. When they reached out to me, they gave me such a detailed inquiry form:

“We're really nervous about documenting our wedding because we feel weird about the spot light being on us and having all of the attention (we almost did not decide to have a wedding, but we just want to celebrate and include our loved ones so badly). Having someone follow us with a camera all day makes us feel weird and we're already awkward in photos.”

Flash forward to after the wedding when their film was delivered, Moriah texted me this:

“I think you know Mike and I more than we know ourselves, because our video is absolutely perfect. The video is so funny, goofy, but also romantic, and just perfectly us.”

CHLOE & SCOTT

“For two people who have never thought about their “dream wedding” we are SO excited!!”

Usually when I’m editing wedding vows or the ceremony, I shed a few tears for the first couple passes and then I’m good. But when their officiant says “may your souls dance together as one” and the violin swells after Chloe expresses how much she loves Scott - AHHH. That is CINEMA, my friends.

On their wedding day, they were so present, and really made it a point to enjoy everything with the people they invited, the friends in their wedding party and notice all the little details (like the ribbon on Chloe’s flowers and Scott’s boutonnière was the same material that pointe shoe’s are made of, and Chloe is a professional dancer.

In conclusion, this wedding is one of my favorites ever.

Below, you can watch their teaser and their REACTION VIDEO (they only watched the first 20 seconds of the film in the video bc it was buffering while on Honeymoon) below!

“Romantic, swoony, teary, lovely…”

The Teaser!

When you have a visually stunning wedding, mixed with an adorable couple, a bride with a vision, and incredible vendors, you get a film that is simply stunning and will make you cry uncontrollably.

It took me awhile to find the right music for Kate and Ryan’s wedding film - I spent around 2-3 hours trying a bunch of different songs, instruments, and genres, experimenting with song after song, but the romantic nature of the footage wasn’t translating into film that they wanted, or it didn’t flow with their vows…Until I found the one in their film. Let me tell you, it took me about 2 hours to edit it together from there - everything came together so perfectly.

Over my career as a wedding videographer, I have made many romantic wedding films…but there’s something about this one that just gets ya right in the feels. So grab that box of tissues and meet the adorable couple of Kate and Ryan!!

The final film!

CHELSEA AND ANTHONY

“Happy. Grateful. Relaxed. Present. Dancing maniac”

A love story that started when they were elementary school! Their day was about being present, enjoying the time and most importantly, DANCING (I actually stayed an extra 10 minutes to record everyone dancing to HOT TO GO, and it was absolutely worth it.)

When Chelsea decided to book with me she said the kindest thing ever:

“I am so excited to tell you that we would love to work with you. Planning my wedding has been extremely stressful for me and talking to you the other day seriously felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. It felt like I’ve known you for 10 years, LOL, so THANK YOU!! (please feel free to put that in any testimonials for your website, because I truly mean it!!!)”

She’s the best.

MARIsSA & TREVOR

“I promise to always watch all the Bills games with you…And to get you a beer every time they lose”

When I first met with Marissa and Trevor, I could tell how excited they were to just be married.

On their wedding day, they were up for walking around the beautiful property and scenery of Wagner Winery and had so much FUN with all the prompts Kristy (photographer), Teddy (assistant videographer), Bronson (assistant photographer) and I (videographer) threw out at them.

Their film was at the beginning of my 2022 season, and is one of my favorite films EVER. Now stop reading and watch it already!!

Marissa & Wayne

“The rainbow, the poppies, the adorableness, the gender reveal.”

hadassah & david

“These shots kill my lil' heart with their bullets of love”

David, the groom, reached out to me after the wedding day and said this about the film-

“I can't believe these moments are ours to have and hold. It takes me back at lightspeed to that day which has already gained so much nostalgic traction in my memory. We both agreed we'll never be the same after this film. It is just too perfect and love-laden and theatrical for us to ever not be watching it. If you ever want to make a full-length indie movie with us, give me a call! Lol . . .

The shot of me hugging my dad before approaching the altar gets me everytime, man. I can barely make it through the rest of the film after that point. Then I get smashed in the face with those aisle of trees shots and the moment where I walk to Hadassah and pull her in for a dance.

This feels a little like a mountaintop moment. . .I think I'll sit here, on the peak, for a little while.”
